  • Throughout the Year: Look out for Mick during our various seasonal open days. He enjoys meeting fellow garden enthusiasts, answering your questions about the challenging cool-climate horticulture of the region, and discussing the history and vision behind this magnificent design.

  • Highlight Event: Mark your calendar for the annual Crookwell Garden Festival on 7-8 November 2026. This is the highlight event where you can experience the Markdale gardens at their absolute peak and chat with Mick about the future of this Australian garden treasure.
