The nearest grocery store is the IGA in Crookwell, around 30 minutes away, so it’s best to stock up before you arrive.

Shearers’ Quarters

  • The Shearers’ Quarters was traditionally used to accommodate the shearing teams each year when they came to Markdale.

    Today the renovated Shearers’ Quarters can sleep up to 12 and is perfect for a cost-conscious solution for larger groups, family reunions, group retreats or perhaps a special birthday celebration.

    The 6300 acre property features winding creeks, Edna Walling garden, pool and tennis court.

    Facilities include:

    • 2x Double bedrooms

    • 4x Twin rooms

    • 2x bathrooms (1 is external access)
